Sir John A. Macdonald

Did you know your old cellphone can help people who are homeless?

Yes! By donating your used cellphone, you help someone who needs to be in touch with various service-support agencies. It helps them stay safe and connected to people who can help, just like your phone keeps you connected.

The Other Bean on Quinpool Road accepts all types of cellphones, including flip phones, that are working, have a charger and are cleared of any personal information.

You can drop off your old and working cellphone with the charger in the box in the guidance office. Remember to do a factory reset to clear all personal information.

Have a cell phone that is broken? We will also accept that and ensure it gets recycled properly to minimize its environmental impact.

They will be accepted until Friday, January 10th.
